TSB is one of the largest sugar and milling companies in South Africa, producing approximately 30% of South Africa's total sugar output. Founded in 1965, it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of RCL Foods, which is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. TSB is strategically located in the "northern irrigated" region of the South African sugar industry. TSB operates three sugar mills in Malalane, Komati and Pongola. TSB's head office is located at Malalane, approximately 60km east of the town of Nelspruit. TSB markets its sugar under the Selati brand. Molatek, produces animal feeds from by-products of the sugar manufacturing process. TSB Sugar RSA Limited consists of South African and international operations. Its international subsidiaries comprise: Booker Tate (100%) - a global leader in the provision of development, management and technical services to sugar, ethanol, bio-energy and other agribusinesses; The Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation (27.4%) - the largest sugar producer in Swaziland; Mananga Sugar Packers (50%) - a sugar packaging company based in Swaziland.
